Fits me very well, although can anyone tell me why one lapel is shorter than the other?

This thing probably weighs 7lbs, unstructured too.

I finally find a pair of Allen Edmonds in my size and what do I see when I get home?

35"x35", hand rolled edges towards less vibrant side, decent weight silk.

All clear. Released 1998, IIRC, same collection as J. Lo's famous Jungle print dress.

Noted for sure. And thanks for the info!

But bear with me, I'm a bike noob. I don't even know how to ride a bike peepwall[1].gif

But what do you mean re badged? The "Made in England" and the "Rudge Sports" are on the body of the bike. The handle says Raleigh.

Theres a back badge that says "3020" I think.

Im thinking this is from the 60s is that right? I think this would look awesome in the LuxeSwap store bounce2.gif I can put a basket of pocket squares on the back lol

Wait wait wait...you dont know how to ride a bike?

Yeah Raleigh sometimes just licenced out,like when Belvest makes Hermes etc etc

They just slapped a different badge on it,or they used raleigh parts.yhe Sturmey three speed is just so common.

Exactly right idea,i would put a mannequin on that and put it in the window.the basket idea is great too,but use vinatge crate instead

The reason I do it is because, even though I'm already insured, if I hit something, the rental company wants their money now. My insurance will eventually reimburse me, but a lot of times, I will be forced to pay out of pocket now. I'm not really about being out money waiting for my insurance to pay me.

Instead, I just pay the 9-15 a day and if I fuck shit up, they bring me a new car and I keep rolling.

@Versace Guy
I'm in Chicago. If you're downtown there appears to only be 2 thrift stores that are walkable and I didn't find much like you're looking for. There's other stores around the city but they're not that close in a car so walking seems bad.

@SpooPoker bikes are my area wink.gif If you ever have bike stuff of interest, get in touch -- I know there's a lot of interesting stuff in people's basements in LI. That Rudge would trade on NY Craigs for $250-300 probably -- it's a decent bike, nothing special, but city bikes like that trade pretty quickly. The saddle is fairly shot which is a bit of a damper -- you could probably soak that Brooks in some decent leather conditioner and get it a bit of the way back...
