The official thrift/discount store bragging thread - Part II (Return to the Thunderdome) - Page 1289

Nothing clothing related, but came home with this very nice camera from the 1880's.
Probably paid a little too much, in a thrift shop I normally bypass because of it's high prices, but it's in great condition and just needs a lens.
A set of three original mahogany plate holders too.

Made by George Hare of London, and this model was introduced in 1882.

Nice job Spoo!

Made a few stops yesterday after being out of town for the weekend, the last one had the fruitful trees.

Very RRL PRL

Purp one piece

Unstructured cord SC for fall

Eazye asked me to look out for some navy blue twill trousers at the spot he found the Poole, and these caught my eye so I sent him a phone pic. Well made, no branding, and blue twill?

Then I found another pair with the same lining..

Awww yussss!! Pop!

So much handwork

@silverwarebandit, RL just cycles through the labels with fabrics and styles. I found a shirt that I just knew was going to be RRL because I'd found it no more than a few months ago. Label was PRL.

Between 44R and 44L it looks like, sorry! If it was 40R I would have worn it 100 times by now.

Yeah, I've noticed with RRL at least, the styles that sell out quickly wind up having a very similar PRL the following season. Before this piece, I found a very similar Iron Ore star print shirt which was a fast selling piece. Which is cool, because I'm way more likely to find polo.

Held off copping Evisu until now because of all the fakes but I think this is the good stuff. Selvedge, MiJ, painted on gulls etc. Size 36

NWOT RRL japanese selvedge in kind of an awful wash, 32

Pure Blue Japan, 28

Daiki-era WWM chambray, M

And speaking of Daiki, enormous shout-out to @snackbandit for hooking it up with this EG tartan jacket. Happened to be wearing a 19th c. BD in a similar plaid yesterday so I threw the jacket on overtop. Proper fit pic once I figure out what to wear this thing with.

Chained it to a Japanese Vending Machine. and proceeded to fruit the tree.

earlier i was at home Browsing the interwebz for Tiki stuff, and found a Coke Machine going for crazy money. so this one begged to be looked at again.

it prolly still works, the inside is like new.

-found it in sporting items related to Cold stuff. like:

Ice fishing drills?   and Snow boards?  fun times on Hoth.   turning left,

a Polo shirt, with some pants behind it.

i see fit pic potential here.......
