Anyhow found my first pair of selvedge and the fit is amazing other than the length. My question is do you hem these to proper length or are they supposed to be longer to be rolled to show off the selvedge?

You could have them professionally hemmed. Otherwise, lots of people roll them and other people like stacks. It's really up to what type of style you'd like to rock. Also impacts the type of fades you'll get eventually.

+1 but professional job is optional imo. denim is really about making it work however you like.

turn em up,

roll em up,

hem em,

taper em,

peg em,

shrink em,

don't shrink em,

wash em,

don't wash em,

etc. no rules really. just try it, feel it out. have fun!

Well, I did suggest that for just one day. Kind of a course correction, you know?

Z zegna leather jacket. Ethrift, cheap and fits nicely. The leather is smoooooth.

Went to thrift store, saw this plisse scarf, hmm i recognize that print..

Gucci shades mostly for fun.

A mulberry scarf to finance the addiction.

On the same note, do any of you have tips for rolling up your jeans, without making the rolls look so bulky?

Need lightweight denim and no more than one or two folds. Really no other way.

That's what I thought. This is 18oz Gustin and is way too long. I am a 30" inseam, normally, and these come at like 34 or 36". I'll have to have them hemmed I guess.

also, thanks!

Totally random, but are any of you tight with @hbkshin? I know he was going through some shit and it looks like he hasn't logged on in a month or so. Wondering if he's doing alright.

You can send them to me and then I'll give them to my wife and she'll be really happy.
