1991 Ferrari Testarossa...only one of the hottest fucking cars ever made...how a man would let a 15 year old whose never driven a car, get behind the wheel of this thing and take it on the highway no less, is a mystery to me, I guess he was really feelin my mom....babied the shit out of it too...the guy had cash and a few things in the garage but this was his favorite... and he let some little shit head take that bitch out hard..

Those sound AMAZING. especially when they break the cold morning air.   Beautiful Machines.

I can buy that car this Winter if I can manage to offload all the suits in my inventory -_-... Shit, I could buy a Ferrari if I offloaded my entire workshop. #SpooPokerStatus

While we can all agree on how fantastic Porsche's and Ferrari's are, regardless of cost, even guys who own these Machines can not dispute the absolute insanity that is a Tweaked Subaru hitting boost.  you get this Maniacal grin followed by laughter........... some of the fastest production cars on the market in regards to track times. and the best part?

you can fold the rear seat down to hold your swag. :nodding:  As practical as it is fast.    from the owner/Driver of 2 Turbo'd Flat 4 monsters.

I promise. it will be the best wheeled purchase you ever make.

edit:  Get the STI. even if you have to get one a year or 2 older.  #Forged Internals

Thanks to @richnet12 and @turkey_sandwich for getting the KnowledgeBox (TM) my way. Cool stuff. I'm ready to pass it on, anyone in MN want it first for local pickup? I sold half of it and lost some of the rest. I hope that is okay. wink.gif

If you sold anything out of that Know Box....the way it was hacked up....you are the next Spoorific seller on the thread!

Leather Holster: (Click to show)

These are very basic and inexpensive tools / materials. A 2mm Pricking Iron, Diamond Awl, Exacto Knife, Bone Folder, Linen Thread, Harness Needles, Beeswax (for waxing the thread) and a good metal ruler. Also the self-healing cutting mat underneath it all.

I made this circular "tool caddy" a while ago, just so that things are within easy reach and aren't scattered across the table.

The hide. This was just a "smaller" piece of 4/5oz Veg-Tan cowhide. It's maybe 5 sq. ft. Cost was about $30-40.

The hide has a nice raw, fleshy pink color.

Here's the piece I cut out from the hide. The slashes on the right are flaws in the hide.

Here are the 2 basic pieces that I cut out and dyed. I used Eco-Flo water based dye, and then treated the pieces with Fiebing's Tan-Kote for a nice luster after the dye was dried.

The larger piece I had started to fold and shape around the pistol. The smaller piece has a metal belt-clip installed, and the holes were marked for stitching.

The finished holster.

Stitching detail, and leather grain.

With the pistol inserted. This is a Bersa Thunder .380ACP.

Overall I'm happy with it, for only being made in a few hours. The only thing I would change is that I would use Black Thread, or dye the White Linen thread before waxing it. But it's very functional as-is, and pretty nice for only being the 2nd holster I've ever made.

Well Done!

Wondered why one of my items on the bay had so many views and then saw it was in the PTO Roundup. That's a pop, right?

Thanks @YoungAmerican ! Already got a nice bid.

Monday blues...

Owned a pair of these many moons ago and remember them being very comfy... Not really valuable at all except for personal satisfaction.

and was stoked to find these super cheap red drivers. This will complete my gag-worthy Christmas ensemble. Nothing will embarrass the wife as much as walking down the main aisle of the church like a BOSS wearing candy-cane emblematic cords and these loafers. Fuck yes!
