These are only the highlights.... I picked up quite a few ties, kiton and Isaia. A terrific Hermes folio and three flasks (gave 1 to the GF, 1 to a sister and 1 I use quite often), a few pocket squares, a pair of white croc Gucci loafers ($2,400 retail) and some ferragamo tremezzas and some Magnanni loafers. A killer Cucinelli backpack and a nice filson bag. A few pairs of sunglasses and countless amounts of private label cashmere.

Oh and this.... Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Killer haul! Glad to see ya back on here! You thinking of making a trip back up to Minnesota soon? Haha.

My fiancé has been hinting at wanting something LV and embraces thrifting so I figured it might be worth a shot. Nothing really makes me think it is fake, most details seem to be there, my only question was the imprinting of the name on the interior seems "shallow". But, then again, maybe that is just from use and the other leather being pressed on around it.

Just read one other thing that has be doubtful, the tag. It sounds like LV uses these paper stock card, but does not use the string and logo that is attached to it.

Any help is appreciated!

As others have said, it's a pretty bad fake. every detail is off.   but when you want a real one?   Hit me up. i can hook you up around the 10% rule.

Some Big Thankyou's due very soon. you guys are Amazing.

I picked up a Swiss made zegna sc last week that had 16% poly.very recent one too.

***video game- and charity-related spam***

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Sorry for the spam, but I know there are a lot of gamers in this thread.

I'm participating in Extra Life this year, which is a charity game-a-thon raising money for the Children's Miracle Network and affiliated hospitals, in my case the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation

At best I'm what you'd call a casual gamer. I tend to play short (15-45 minute) sessions of puzzle games, roguelikes, and so on. 24 hours of video games is going to be a real slog and I think my eyes might fall out.

From 8 am Nov. 7 to 8 am Nov. 8, I'm planning to play Binding Of Isaac, which is a weird little Zelda-influenced roguelike. If I get ambitious and/or bored I may add Hotline Miami 2 to the list.

Anyway, if you feel like sponsoring me, you can do so here.

Also, if anyone else is doing this and wants to invite me to their team, or start one, I'd be happy to join!

A couple of e-thrifts I'm happy with.

For winter:

For Fliptember, RLBL Anthony chalkstripe flannel (I think) "office suit":

Just hoping all that dry cleaning hasn't ruined it.
