@cj52racers - fucking wizard. Excellent find, sir. I haven't been very active in thrifting - but I need to get back in it. And I thought my RLPL pop was a big deal. LeCoultre is a whole new level. Proxy? LOL. My desk needs a clock that says "fuck you, pay me."

Damn that clock is insane. Cue 3 months of clock posts with "is this a thing?" We saw what happened with art.

Holy shit, these.  Not as niche as a latex dress, but certainly a fetish.

Those jeans have a...built-in codpiece.

I did more research and found out more about that latex outfit.  Marquis.de - the style of the skirt (€179) and top (€189) are 'Wally' The ruff is the only ruff they sell. It costs (€149). About $600 USD plus international shipping. These are Good Things.  Pros.  The con is that I think it's a size small. Larger sizes always do better.

I have now had to explain latex fetish wear to my teenagers. So that happened.

They were not impressed. I got the quintessential impatient teenaged roll of the eyes. They've been doing this since they were not even teenagers yet. Like, geez mom, what is it with grownups?

wait... you told them niche = $$$, right? and they rolled their eyes?! kids today!

No no no. They like THAT. It's the whole grownup obsession with sex that bugs them. It's like, does everything have to be about that? (you have to imagine a vaguely grating whine to the voice.)

To which all I can *really* say is,

I don't know. Teenagers now have access to every sexual idea ever. They're probably rolling their eyes because they understand it more than you and they think you're explaining it wrong.

A teaser, all will be revealed, eventually.

I'm browsing the thread not on my phone for the first time in awhile so I can start giving some well deserved thumbs. Crazy finds this week everyone!

Sex is everywhere... I remember being young and good ol' fashioned porn was hard to obtain. I could tell you where every naked female picture was in my parents' set of encyclopedia. Kids today hardly know what encyclopedia are. I remember looking at the underwear section of the Sears catalog and having to use my imagination. The internet has brought a wealth of information to our fingertips. Unfortunately, with that wonderful resource, our kids are bombarded with the worst types of human depravity. You can try to shield them from it as long as possible. I showed my daughter how to find her favorite cartoons on Hulu. I come back 10 minutes later and find my thoroughly perplexed 6-year old watching South Park. The times are a changin'.
