The official thrift/discount store bragging thread - Part II (Return to the Thunderdome) - Page 1113

Ahh... that's something to be wary of. Some of the newer Klipsch sets are not that great or valuable. Like some of the Klipsch THX sets, or the sets for PC's.... They're not terrible or anything, and for cheap they're nice speakers... But nowhere near the quality or value of things like their RF or RS series speakers. Even some of the smaller bookshelf Klipsch's are great.

I used to have a Klipsch 5.1 system in my room, but it has since been scattered among other rooms and houses. My dad is a total Klipsch junkie. We must have like 10 pairs of them in various forms. Be on the lookout for older Klipsch speakers like their "Cornwall" or "La Scala" or "Corner Horns".

About 2 years ago my middle son had to go through 3 brain surgeries to remove brain tumors over the course of 3 months. In doing so he ended up being nominated for a make a wish trip. camacuna for you, hopefully vicunacamata for me!

Camacuna,

Nothing on google except that it was a trademark for Londontown Manufacturing Company, now expired as of 1992.  Lists as  "FABRIC MADE UP INTO TOP COATS, CAR COATS, RAIN COATS, AND JACKETS FOR MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN."  No actual mention of the makeup of the fabric.

Obviously meant to invoke both Camel hair and Vicuna.  My guess is that it would be impossible to do more than just mention Vicuna (maybe with a question mark?) in any listing with no content tag.  You know better than me how coats sell for you but in general, I find coats to be a tough purchase because of their weight.  Of course, since I don't sell direct, I first have to ship to SPOO and he generally does not sell much of that stuff anyway.

Good luck,
