Some finds I forgot about the other day:

A very vintage tie. I think 70's?

Why is it a Brag?

Found a nice belt for 34-36 waist and someone that likes Lacoste

I'm not sure these next items are a Brag or just a find. I wouldn't normally buy Banana Republic (at least not the modern stuff), but 4 or these 5 shirts were right next to each and I noticed that a few of them were NWOT or at least VERY LIKE NEW. These are an unusual size. I'm not sure they are worth that much to sell on the 'bay, but would make nice shirts for anyone that can wear a 14.5 Slim Fit or Small. They are all non-iron and in either new or near new condition.

Thanks so much to @eazye for a great deal on some great Brioni, Borelli, and other shirts. These shirts are definitely some of the nicest shirts I have ever had. Thanks you! We just made a deal late last week and they arrived already in the mail!

Fellas,

Your dress shirt rotation, how many do you all have? I 'have' to wear one every day to work, thus they get soiled around the neck often and I feel I wash some too often (I don't do dry cleaning all that often). Is that your solution if you don't have many? Dry clean/wash often, or, buy more?

10-12. Use The Method for sweat stains. It works like a charm.

^^^
re: dress shirts i wash em often but i never dry mine in a dryer.

i'd hand wash everything i own if i had the patience, as it is i hand wash what i can and hang dry everything that i care about.

i get collar stains cause i've got dark skin but that comes out easily. i don't wear antiperspirant so stiff crusty pits aren't a thing for me.

a good deep rotation is probably key if you're wearing em all day every day.

when my dress shirts get ratty they become casual shirts lol.

Somewhat thrift related, at least cheapskate related...

Has anyone out there done an out-of-state move, and have a shipper recommendation that isn't astronomically priced? My wife's new company is providing a "relocation bonus", but we'd like to keep some of it if possible.

Pack a u-haul on your own for a one-way trip and hitch one of the cars to it?

I have a Class-A cdl... Just rent an 18-wheeler and I'll drive it. We'll make it in one trip.

Sell current possessions, rent U-Haul and fill it up with thrift finds on the way to the new home.

We just moved last year from Boston area to Nashville and stored our stuff for 2 months. Total was ~12K which included packing everything, storing for 2 months and delivery. Since I have moved myself 4 times previously, at my age there was no way I was going through that **** again. It was awesome, I pointed and someone packed it up and then placed it where I wanted it in our new house. We had 3 different movers come and give us estimates, we wound up going with United Van Lines.

I should add that is a 3200 sq ft house.
