I can't be the only one who finds pocket squares, shoe trees, lapel pins, cufflinks, suspenders, attached to things I wasn't going to buy and then attach them to the things I am going to buy. Consider this my confession to assuage my guilt.

Guilty. I was eyeballing two blazers the other day, same maker, same size...decided to buy just one of them, but the one I was putting back had a Morgenthal Frederics cleaning cloth in the pocket...so, I did the ol' switcheroo. In the event that I'm ever as lucky as Spoo to find a pair. Which I predict will be the 2nd Thursday of next week.

So you finally understood the WAYWRN thread is just populated by a very specific subset of iGents... and some of them think they know the universal truth about menswear, right?

I'm (not so much) kidding, some of those guys are great ^^ And your fit pics are baller man. I can't believe how much you slimmed down too

There's good and bad everywhere in the world, and in everyone's contribution. Its up to each of us to decide which is which, internalize the good and filter out the bad.
Anyone who's ever recommended spending time on WAYWRN to improve and refine your style is absolutely right. And I'm thankful for those who pushed me to do so, and for the many folks who took the time to share their knowledge -- I undoubtedly dress light years better for having done so. But I think stepping away, for now, opened the door for additional growth too.

I assume you mean on my Tumblr; I don't recall having posted here for a while. Thanks; yes. Not as dramatic in absolute numbers as you'd expect, but that's because of the conversion to muscle. But I'm way, way slimmer. Tons of my clothes are too big.
On the upside, a bunch of things that were, really, too small before finally fit.
(But i'm keeping some of the best of the bigger stuff, just in case I start hitting the Ben and Jerry's hard)

Hanes 1960s? tees (appeared unworn when I picked them up, still had packaging creases; bad lighting, they're white)

QUOTE] You should do well with these. I sold a pair of NOS 60s Hanes white undershirts for $80 each to a buyer in Japan. It was my fastest sale of all time - BIN in under seven minutes.
