Haven't posted in a while. More later today but wanted to put this one up. Found it just around the block from my house by someone who has had it since the 70s. It has some minor damage to one arm but fixable I think. Looks like it is from the 40s. It already looks gorgeous. Weights about 25 pounds and built like a tank. My two kids can both sit in it together it is so large...

That looks real to me by the way it's uneven and matting.  Can you see any fabric backing if you look deep into the pile?

Thanks all and thanks for confirming, Spoo. That's what I figured, but the wool felt but different than the last couple shearlings I've found and I wanted to be sure.
