Top three dress shoe brands you own, go.

• Vass for Balderamassi or w/e
• Thom Browne for BBBF Pebblegrain longwings
• Zegna captoes

$10 ea for Vass & EZ, $100 for the BBBFs (thx Linda!). Sadly, none fit

if you mean for personal then it's:

• Yuketen Maine Guide Ox
• Mark McNairy elevated brogues
• Acne sandals

Swedish death metal? :inlove:

Haha some, but mostly Swedish black metal, that **** was my life! Most of my friends were into punk tho, coming from a major punk Town in Sweden. I was the outcast:)

@Nobleprofessor After some research, i can tell you your Teapot was made by the company that was founded in the late 1860's with differing markings on the base. with the actual signature changing as the craft was passed down through generations of the company. the good news? Yours bears the original signature according to research on this end.
see this pic?

The one on the left is a first generation piece, the one on the right is later.
Here is a pic of your Teapot:

See this "Legit" Teapot:

They did not disclose the value on this one.
Now the later generation teapot? which is less legit, but more ornate??

Sold for 700,000 Yen. which off the top of my head rounds out to about $6,000+ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You bought this on a Gut feeling? You sir, Have "The Thrift".

-While it is extremely hard to know what year, or style without a serious Japanese teapot pro. My guess is yours is after the first generation, as it's design is more refined.*(note the smoother join around the middle, and the lid style) but you have a 100% Legit piece of Japanese Art, with the minimum Value of $250. and a shot at the $6+k . after having it assessed.

Congratulations on finding this years thrifty winner.
-Vader.

I have a few thoughts about this:

1. HOLY ****!

2. REALLY? HOLY ****!

3. I am so grateful for you taking the time to research this as well as @timhortons . Seriously, this sort of thing is what is best about this group! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

This is actually the fourth time I have tried to write this response. It is so hot that everytime the a/c comes on at my office, it has been flipping the main breaker.

You mentioned that this is the company that was founded in 1860. But, what is the name of the Company? Is it Ryubundo?

It makes me wonder whether I shouldn't just write up what your research indicated and just list it $3500 and see if it sells?

After reading your message and the a/c going out this morning, I decided I should probably go back to the sale and see if they had more.

They didn't have any like this, but they did have some other related stuff. Will post pics soon. I'm trying to finish this message before the power goes off again.

Do you have a store in your area that sells them? Just go to the store and try them on to confirm your size. I have done that with some things and then bought them on ebay.
