I just wrote it but ill say it briefly (like I know what the **** that word means) again. When I think RG, I think mid-life crisis, sad dads, facing their mortality, ages 45-60, trying to regain their youth by going out and buying trendy/expensive ****, but their wife has been dressing them for 20 years so they don't know what the **** to buy or how to dress. So they fork over all this money on these Robert Graham shirts thinking its making them look young and hip again. Sad dads.

are you reading the thread backwards? lol

Agreed. i truly love tweed jackets. But if it is over 60 f outside, I'd rather be dead than wear tweed. Might as well wear down.

No, would you like me to? @the2ndhandman seemed to have been offended because he got defensive about his haul, in which I stated my intentions were in no way talking **** and that his haul is quite epic, but that the high concentration of RG shirts = sad dads. You then asked what that means after I clarified it once. But being the nice guy that I am, I chose to repeat what I had previously said by quoting your question so you would be notified of a response.

oh it would seem your question preceded the one I addressed initially. My mistake. I thought however I would clarify with him first, it being directed towards him and him obviously not taking it the way it was intended, thinking **** was being talked, I'd never attack another persons haul, so that seemed like the right order.

Since there's been a lot of talk about PRL lately, I'm going to play "Stump Styleforum"

1000

I've had these awhile but haven't done anything with them because after much research I haven't been able to find ANYTHING about them on the internet at all.

Pre-worn, pre-stained, pre-paint-splattered pseudo vintage maritime trousers with blown-out buckleback by Polo Ralph Lauren.

True story I once left a pair because I didn't know better,$40 bucks.mind you this was about eight years ago before my electronics game was tight.but still hurts.

That's the live & make mistakes & learn thing. Done it over and over myself, tho with declining frequency and better results each time. Gotta spend time and money to get an education - in the field or in the classroom - we all obviously prefer the field.

I grabbed some stanky looking McIntosh ML-1C speakers like a year ago for $40. Cabinets were trash, but the parts were nice. Ripped 'em apart and sold the emblems, mid-ranges, cross-overs, tweeters, woofers, grilles, etc for close to $400 now and still have a couple more parts to unload. But those Magnepan's would be in my living room and looking sexy. They are sex. Sex. Sex. Sex.

Why? Ben Silver sells better than Charvet cuz it's English silk and they are constructed/woven about 100 times better than Charvet's are. Give me a nice Ben Silver over a Charvet any day of the week.

You've got yourself a trade partner!
I'll go 1:1 Charvet:BenSilver with you any time.

If someone else hasn't already responded. YES. Pick it up. My last one sold in 4 hours for $10 under my ask. Rare like hens teeth I think is the saying?
