I only walk around with my dick out, when there's other people around to notice. It's not funny if it go unnoticed.

Yea I'm asian, those tiny gold numbers really standout among the rottweiler slip-ons and studded red-soles in my class.

Yes, there is a big jump in the quality, and I wear Vans because they are a nice shape, and cheap.  Some Vans can also look really cheap and shoddy, though...

Of course, sometimes, if you are wearing Lanvin slip ons, you can look like a douche, so there is a tradeoff.

sounds like Lanvin is the way to go then

ASSOCIATED COMPUTER NERD ENTERPRISES - THE ACNE STUDIOS THREAD

http://www.styleforum.net/t/523463/associated-computer-nerd-enterprises-the-acne-studios-thread

I wrote a brand spotlight for Acne Studios if anyone is interested in reading it.

Also sitting on another one for Robert Geller and Dries Van Noten if anyone has any interest in me posting them. I had a little bit of downtime in grad school (waiting on a project to start up) so I did some reading and non-scientific writing which was fun.

Marsell derbies.

Wasn't sure I'd like these, the shape of the toe box seemed weird , but having them now I like that they don't look like all the anonymous black shoes that every office worker is waking around in. Weird is good.

Cool.  We have a Geller thread already, but it might be a good time for a reboot.  And Dries could use a dedicated thread as well.  I'll contribute mostly accessories.

Blasphemy, the Geller thread is perfect just the way it is

And I was just going to post them in their respective dedicated threads. Nothing particularly new just consolidated.

Is there an actual explanation of what defines "vintage" and "antique"?
I see stuff all the time on eBay and grailed and even estate sales that are labelled vintage that are maybe 15 years old and "antiques" that are from the 90's. I was always under the impression that:
vintage = 25+ years old
Antique = 100+ years old

Apple told me today my MBP is vintage, it's from 2010. shog[1].gif

It depends on the product and the country of origin. In China for example art isn't antique until its 300+ years old.

Some clothes from a Asger Juel Larsen, I don't much about him but the black coat and the white tundra fit were dope

Here's a gnarly face dress from Henrik Vibskof

And here's his store, it's probably the most interesting one I've been to so far
