They have some good stuff on there - I like Greg Lauren myself.  But... yeah, could be a store in search of a customer.  Or maybe they are making bank.  Who knows.

Haha yeah, I was thinking more like Gap or Zara, but sure that'll do.

Edit: damn, out of my size, I guess I'll keep looking for something 1/20th of the price.

About tees who makes a plain white t-shirts similar to the AA tri-blend in terms of material? Great material but there is no white color. Oatmeal just doesn't do it.

No idea, the cut will probably be awkward but the quality should be a lot better than fast fashion stuff.

Goth Mori, in a guide:

So recently some guys (including /u/vaeltaja) and I were semi-ironically discussing a clothing style focused on combining the vintage-workwear inspired styling of obscure Japanese brand Garment Reproduction of Workers with the ragamuffin chic of Paul Harnden and the whimsy of Trove. We tossed around some silly name ideas for the style but they kinda work so they stuck.

The ideal result was a blending of the heritige and workwear-inspired artisinal looks with a bit of lightheartedness. The end result isn't quite as dainty as mori nor is it quite as full-on 19th century as Harnden but I think it's a nice blend and an interesting experiment. If nothing else it's a fun concept that hopefully inspires a few people to try new things. I realize that 'dark mori' is a thing (apparently?) but this isn't really about working with established styles as much as it is just havin fun.

They usually had some interesting things online but I'd go into the store and see like one cool thing and it'd be 900$, I'd knod at the SAs I'd seen on tumblr, and roll out

Edit: I did buy a pair of their store-brand wool pants at half off and have been happy to have them for dressy shit

3 minute featurette on Blackmeans. Produced by Mr.  P but don't let that dissuade you from watching.

Ah, now that I look closer I see that. That stinks.

Camo Italy had a nice all linen cap a few seasons back, dont see anything for this SS though.

I really like that brand. Not nearly cool enough to wear their stuff, but I like it.

Some cool photos from an exhibition they did earlier this year on the Japanese punk scene:

Mr Porter recommends pairing a Blackmeans jacket with rolled-up chinos for a relaxed look perfect to go to an art gallery opening or a first date.

They make cool looking riders (and other stuff), not that hard to wear. I haven't purchased from them but what I've seen is really great. They're also big (punk) nerds like the workwear guys so it is endearing.
