Random fashion thoughts - Part II (A New Hope) - Page 594

yeah, looks like a pretty standard mac. unless the fabric just blows you away in person, it's hard to see the particular appeal.

minotaur stuff looks cool in general, though i wish their long jackets were...8-10" longer. even the pockets look like they'd be hard to get your hands into without bending your elbows a lot.

It's quite an awesome fabric, feels like a stiff cotton, not nylon - matte, dry hand. Was made for some space-related purpose, I guess. Actually a pretty cool brand that makes some rather attractive looking tech items: https://www.minotaur.co.jp/

Two things:

1.) I don't like the cuff strap and buttons. However, since it's nylon, I can't take the buttons off without leaving a hole. Any ideas?
2.) Black or natural?

Pics of a blue one:

All my coats already look like that.

If you strap the cuffs the other way around they opening will be tighter.

During a Valentino product knowledge session, the female model that was modelling their new collection distracted me.

I noticed how her upper thighs seemed a shade darker than her arms or calves. A very light purple tinge is the best way to describe it. :uhoh: Then I remembered how malnutritioned these girls can get...

I couldn't help but notice how her legs were quivering the entire time she stood still. Her heels must have been four inches long and one size too big. She put on a brave face but I sensed tension and discomfort. Poor girl. :(

I remember this one time I stumbled on this tumblr and I thought "this kinda looks like a female version of Rais" so I posted it here. Ended up being his sister 😂

Do u guys ever wear belts that you clasp/buckle in the first hole? I heard some belts are meant to be this way. Why is that?

The standard of other belts in the middle of holes, usually the 3rd one.

It's a belt wear it so it keeps your pants up.

Are we okay with this combo?

I'm happy for Jay, but I don't generally like his stripes on stripes.  This is a go to look for him.

its fine   - the stripes are of a different scale so they don't entirely clash. It would look better if the shirt's stripes were thinner/closer together, but its not bad.

Go for the tan if you can't find the sage green color anywhere.

We picked up this shirt jacket in the green and beige, and a few caps in the same fabric. I say the green because it's this perfect shade that looks great with faded denim and all of the other springtime colors. You're right that it's not very compelling in a picture but in person it's really cool.

This hardly every happens.  It typically only happens when the belt is a size too small.  You are supposed to size up 1 for belts, in general.  In some brands, of course, you should size up or size down.  A lot of people buy their belts the same size as their pants, which is typically just wrong.

Man, what the hell is going on at Allen Edmonds?

for some reason than CPsole/Lanvin/silouette style seems like it will be looked back on as the Prada hybrid red stripe sneaker of the '10s.
