mine did it for really cheap and it worked out very well, I'll definitely do it again due to small waist/ long legs and working out

As long as you arent sizing up multiple sizes you'll be fine. Im a true 33 but I buy 34, occasionally a 36, and ive only once had an issue with the waist being taken in. They will probably have to take the hips in a little bit too if the waist is huge though.

There is a pretty involved watches thread on the CM side, but not one here. What's everyone wearing watch wise here?

Rolex Submariner no date 14060. Vintage 5513 would be better, but it's too much money.

Pepsi GMT and also an older DJ, working on something fun though.

Still stuck on an iPhone 5S myself.

Omega Submariner 300M 2254.50, a Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm on the way some time soon as a gift.

Fok spoke about moving the watch threads to a designated sub forum a little while ago, which got voted down, so they wouldn't be CM. Got voted down in the watch thread.

Rotate between a Nomos Club datum, Zenith El Primero Prime, and a JLC Reverso Grande Taille. I was considering picking up something new this year but I've decided against it. I don't really have enough arms to justify another watch right now.

Same here. Plus watches are not something I'm into, to be honest.

I've got a dressier Orient Bambino (automatic) and a sportier Seiko SSC081P1 (solar).

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Less than $350 between the two, I think?

Couldn't think of the name at the time, but I tried their Sage spray and was left disappointed a few times.

Yes, a competent tailor will be able to do this very effectively. I've had it done a few times and have been very happy with the results.

I'm talking stone washed straight fit jeans in 28 length than hang above the ankles, with a random sweater and a beat up cap. I really hope this doesn't catch on, but I'm starting to see more "fashion" IG posters with this look.

Someone said it earlier, but Normcore is the term you were looking for.

I have a Seiko diver with a NATO bond strap that I wear for my SW&D fits and a vintage Omega Submariner for my CM fits. In all honesty, unless you are really into watches and have plenty of disposable income, don't buy an automatic.

I'll never buy an automatic again. While I can appreciate the craftsmanship, it does not offset the increase in price, the incredible increase in the cost of maintenance, and frankly the decrease in performance vs. a quality quartz.

I see people who enjoy automatic watches akin to those who enjoy vintage jaguars. You just better understand what you're getting yourself into.

Seiko 5 here, too. My nice watch is a Tissot Carson with a band that is twice the value of the watch. biggrin.gif
