I need to get a pair of Yeezy's as a gift by end of the month. Someone recommend me a bot or something for the feb 19th release. I don't care about paying a little more.

It's too much, you really shouldn't...

The strategy is clear: keep using gr_iled to browse, then when you see something you want, PM the seller on SF and set up a transfer.

Oh, and don't buy from non-SF bros.

Grailed could be making a dumb move on this one. Paypal already has protection for buyers and sellers. Browse grilled, contact seller, they drop listing and you send them money through paypal and they send u jawnz. Most probably won't do this, but it could cost them a cut from some sales. I don't get why they don't just leave the fee and use ads for revenue

You need the email/pp address for that though and they'll probably kick you out for trying to circumvent the system
post #7283 of 13795
You can also do that on eBay, but eBay still makes money.
Yeah, right now they make nothing (just take pp fees), so even if they lose 70% of their listings that 30% will still give them more than they make now. Agree though that ads would be a better way to make money (and a bunch of other ways too).

they wanna charge now? that is shit, i want free service!!!!!
yeah they know if you ask them the admin reads your messages.

Grailed sucks for many reasons but them charging a nominal fee for a service isn't one of them

its not hard to message someone your email address within grailed. Since the app opened people have been texting each other more detailed photos of items, so a quick message with your email wouldn't be hard.

I doubt those grilled dudes are working hard enough to kick people out, let alone read our messages, or anything besides twitter.

Come on Fok upgrade the B&S!

We have been promised a size filter and a brand/manufacturer filter for a good long while now.  We did our part - they have all the size conventions we want, and the manufacturer tag is already extant in our tagging system.  It's really a matter of getting enough political will out of our tech partners for them to devote the tech resources to it.  I'm not going to comment on that any more.  Just saying that at least for now, we've done our part and it's out of our hands.

But yeah, agreed - B&S is long overdue some changes to make it easier to use.

On the other hand, the forum software itself is not ever going to be ideal for commerce, and building out a whole new platform is a non-trivial task.

For low-ticket items, I'll sell locally through Yahoo auctions, but for anything over $1000 I've had the best luck selling on Facebook of all things - sold all my recent CCP and Paul Harnden through Facebook. No fees, and the transactions have always been quite pleasant because people are dealing with their real names and identities, as opposed to "slp-luvr69kanye" on Grailed using his mom's credit card.
