Again Zenmarket have been really good. I've had a couple of yahoo sellers cancel bids because they won't sell to a proxy, and they've had to refund me a couple of times for where rakuten sellers have refused to sell for the same reason, but that's out of 40+ transactions over the past three months, and not something I can blame zenmarket for. In terms of zenmarket's service they've been very efficient, with stuff dispatched quickly, packaged well and marked as requested. The only slight issue is the Japanese to English translation on listings seems to vanish for a few hours periodically. On the whole the 300yen charge is excellent value.

Most excellent item we didn't get a to take a picture of in Paris: Simon Miller heavy sashiko bomber - it was so good.  Just so good.  I want it right now.

Simon Miller stuff in general is cool too. He had a denim cut called M003, which is the best cut for me i've ever had basically, unfortunately it seems to have been discontinued or something :( Will someone tell him to relaunch it?

Simon Miller is actually no longer a part of the Simon Miller brand. He does Fabric Brand now which has some amazing washes and really nice denim, maybe it's worth checking them out for a similar cut?
He's also involved in another brand - Citizens of Humanity or something that does denim. Either of those might work.

Oh wow, I had no idea. Good tip! I've looked at Fabric brand before, unaware of this, and they definitively have cool stuff. A bit of a step up in price though, from 3-400 ish to 7-800 ish

Looking for a natural leather weekender. Saw this from Kendal Hyde and it looked nice. Any other recommendations? Price range about $500-700. Appreciated.

Fabric Brand is nice as well, but I didn't see that.  His eponymous brand still puts out some solid product though.

George's Tailoring on Santa Monica Blvd just west of Bundy. I've been a satisfied client since 2006.

I am working on it, and I hope so, yes.  It's in Deborah's court right now.  I've bounced her an email.  If I have a few firm commitments, it would help our case, so shoot me a PM or an email to styleforummarket@gmail.com.  With the discount, I think that that coach jacket, which is one of the really strong pieces in the collection, would be about $750-$800, based on what she quotes as retail and wholesale, and given the price of shipping, duties, etc...

Cheers,

Fok.
