Isetan and Kapital come to mind. Doesn't Kind have a location (or a few) in Tokyo? Also, beware, Isetan is 8 stories tall. You might be there a while.

Isn't there talk about Tokyo in the SWD Travel thread? too busy to check myself.

I always wonder about companies like JNCO and Tommy Hilfiger, who have had their time in the sun, and now live essentially half lives.  The same goes for a lot of tech companies that were really prominent for years, and then were replaced, but still seem to have a very small niche that they continue to occupy.

Seeing lots of sailor inspired pants as of late.

You'd probably like Independence. Try the other place on Oak too forget the name but they carry Kiton and Chrome Hearts so why not.
XOCO for fast soup to eat standing up if you're eating a solo meal
Donut Vault 'Old fashioned" donut is the best donut int the world.
Stay away from that shit they call Pizza.

I just visited and enjoyed Meyvn. Take the blue line out to Logan Square and it's right across the street. Afterwards there's a place called analogue down the street that does good cocktails and Cajun food. Longman and eagle is around there too and is Michelin starred, but the wait is long.

Alber Elbaz is leaving Lanvin. I never followed Lanvin closely but now there seems to be  openings at several French fashion houses.

Yep, Elbaz will replace Jill Stanton after she steps down as Old Navy's interim president. Looking forward to what he brings to the brand.

Lanvin up for sale, again?

don't think so. Alber is just leaving, evidently not of his own choosing: "...on the decision of the company's majority shareholder"

Don't wanna alarm y'all or anything, but there's LESS THAN ONE WEEK LEFT ON THE PUMPKIN SPICE CHALLENGE

http://www.styleforum.net/t/510213/sw-d-pumpkin-spice-challenge-october-18-nov-1

Drop whatever you're doing and get yourself a gourd and a latte, hell, ask the Starbucks barista to take your pic - tell her it's for "the internet."
