AW would have a "2" next to the year on the care tag vs a "1" for the SS

Just following up in case someone knows, thanks!

Are you talking about from current fit or older ones?

Current one (let's say from 2010).

fwiw I had SS15 in black calf and it was thick/substantial leather. do the SS versions sometimes use a slightly thinner leather? probably yes

if you are able to obtain the weight of the jacket it would probably give you a better idea about the thickness of the leather

Knowing what leather it is helps as well. As a general rule, I think the s/s leathers are marginally thinner, but I wear my s/s in fall without an issue.

This is kind of cute though it does remind one more than a little of Tavi Gevinson and other fashion children gone by.

The leather changes season to season, but it's not spring = thin, winter = thick. The leather, fit, and hardware of the jacket have changed quite a bit over time

I spend the morning working with contact cement.  Feeling pretty heady right now.  Woah...

Interested in sort of an alternative suit. I'm thinking forward-leaning, maybe a little weird, nothing that looks too old-timey. should pass as a traditional suit at a glance.

I've been thinking get matching separates from Engineered Garments, maybe corduroy, though EG's corduroy pants are really 5-pocket jeans, so I'm somewhat put off. I have a Qlomaire suit, and it ticks all the boxes, but the blazer on those has a thrift store vibe.

What's out there like this?

Check out the two Camoshita suits with the "easy" pants at No Man Walks Alone. Blue wool seersucker, and burgundy wool corduroy. Both are great, I want.

That Linen wool W jacket is so nice! They probably don't have larger sizes 50/52 though I'm guessing.....
