Random fashion thoughts - Part II (A New Hope) - Page 765

I've got a Z3 compact and the only fault I've had with it is that the screen is relatively brittle (one replacement so far), might've been improved with the z5.

I have the Z5 Compact, camera is really nice but battery quickly degraded atleast for me, seems like the Z3 my friend owns has held out far better. I personally also think the Z3 feels more solid, what with the metal construction compared to the Z5 plastic one

Be careful though, I had a Z3c and the screen spontaneously cracked and stopped working on me, even after I got a replacemen. I was probably pretty unlucky but it is a known problem. Got an s6 now and wish I had a smaller phone though

Just most of the shops I remember in Sydney seem to be closed now. Supply Store is still going strong and still really dope and Harrolds is good for looking around, I've still never been to the Songs for the Mute shop so I want to do that and I know there's supposed to be a rad store in china town but it apparently only stocks small sizes. Other than that I don't know where to look.

big trouble might be worth checking, but its suuuuuper tiny even for a 'boutique'. engineered garments, orslow, rats etc.

I've always thought Sony phone designs were the best, I like how they make flagship small phones. My only problem with them, which is why I don't use them, is I don't think you can root and install a custom ROM on them (like cyanogen Mod) easily.

Thx guys. Read about the screen thing, am pretty careless with my phone so this could be problematic. Tbh my needs are pretty basic, I can deal with a potato camera too, size is def a priority.

Miyake has some of the best pleatwork in the business, maybe the best, and Miyake proteges tend to have a similar architectural style and often use pleating as well.  A lot of them have drapier and more romantic silhouettes though.  The names elude me at the moment, but it's typically women's only.

Anyone heard of this? Popup event of US-made brands all over the country. I just called Ball and Buck, and they said representatives from Shockoe will be there for the Boston event.

Bags wise I was just at the Stay Wild Expo in Portland and thought these were pretty cool (all under $300)

Jbird

Haven and Florin

Red Clouds Collective

Also if anyone is looking for a leather jacket for their girlfriend, this brand Strange Vacations is doing a Vanson collab that's really nice for $800

I know some people here use the oil free moisturizer from Baxter of California, do you ever have any problems with putting it in your carry-on? The tube is 120ml vs the 100ml TSA limit.

I've been to this event twice in the past couple years. Pretty neat if you're into the whole americana schtick akin to Ball and Buck. It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be based off the list of vendors. Most brands/vendors have very limited stuff at the event but it's a good way to spend a morning or afternoon.

Last time I went Frank clegg and his son were there. They're really good people. You can also get your hair cut in the back of a pickup if that's your sort of thing as well.

Edit: Oh yeah, and go get some roxy's grilled cheese or mei mei from the food trucks outside after
