Yup, that was the name.

Does anyone here have that pic of a guy in a Haider Ackermann coat, light wash blue jeans (I think) and some beat up Old Skools? I don't think it's Isaac Larose in the pic, but it's the same kind of vibe.

edit: that's the one, thanks @sipang :)

Do you consider nudie insane prices? A short wander near them in soho and you can take in nudie, oliver spencer, universal works, albam, oi polloi, lvc.

Theres all sorts on carnaby st. Regent street, a short walk to marylebone high street, south molton street. Chiltern street.

Or go the other way to covent garden to edwin, super denim

If you can spend 100 or so i'd go for nudie, albam or levis, but i'd make an afternoon of it meandering around the joys of soho.

Hope that helps
Richard

100 is definitely about what I want to pay - 250, 300, 400, 500 quid jeans just aren't for me. Will check out Nudie

Cheers - I think I know where that store is so I'll pop in.

Just near the crotch, ugly area to expose the world to.

Thanks!

Rivet&hide. http://rivetandhide.com/

APC has multiple shops in London. shog[1].gif

Rivet and Hide were patient and helpful when I went there. I think I tried, like, 80% of their jeans stock and the guy didn't mind too much :o.

I've been happy with the LVC's I got on sale for under £100 a few years back. I got them online tho, not sure if any London stockists still have any LVC on sale. You could always hunt around Shoreditch for a vintage pair if that appeals.

Where should I be looking for collarless popover shirts like this?

I picked up the above and a mainline Margaret Howell shirt secondhand from Japan recently but miscalculated on the sizing. I'd buy Howell stuff in the Western hemisphere but can't afford full price (at least for mainline) and used seems hard to come by here.

Looking for cotton or linen, for spring/summer/early fall. I'm into boxier cuts too.

Anyone have any ideas where I can find last season's RLPL tobacco suede bomber? I called one of their stores a week and a half ago to see if they had it in their inter-store inventory system, but I have yet to hear back from them. It's pretty much the only bomber that checks every box for me, and of course I found out about its existence weeks after the season is over.

Did you try the Ralph Lauren luxury outlet at Woodbury Commons?  NOT the Polo outlet at Woodbury.  The RL luxury store seems to be the only place where you can find Purple Label PSR nowadays - they might be clued in since it's old stock.

Dunno if you're in UK/EU but you could look at these, seem nice for the price: http://www.carriercompany.co.uk/shop/151-collarless-linen-work-shirt

I love rivet and hide but you won't get anything for £100

The other fall back is some simple levis, you can go to big store like selfridges and just keep trying on different pairs, selfridges has a whole corner devoted to different jeans. They have nudie, levi and lots of other brands, one can then saunter through the buttock dribblingly expensive sections too and contemplate the poor life decisions one has made.

Fashion and technology exhibit at the met is really cool. If you get the chance I would recommend going before it closes.

J Crew–owned Madewell has been doing this for a while. J Crew is sold through Mr Porter too right? I wonder if it it's a productive strategy. Seems like most malls with a Nordstrom already have a J Crew anyway.
