Yeah my friend is a reporter for Viceland and a writer for Vice. Same guy from the Robert Geller interviews.

Anyone got any recs for anything similar to Dana Lee leisure jacket? Doesn't have to be the same material.

Richard jacket if you are looking for a more modern, minimalist, slightly darker, style.

Barena if you are looking for a more rustic, softer, knit jacket.

Harris Wharf if you are looking for a more "tailored" looking unconstructed jacket.

Or

NYC cool person = Richard

'Scusi, I am drinking my afternoon espresso = Barena

At a casual bar drinking a gin and tonic = Harris Wharf London.

What's sizing like on Barena? I've interested in getting something but sizing seemed to vary between garment to garment. I had Geller Richard I just didn't like the length.

Don't know your budget, but check out Lanvin's raw edge jersey knit Blazers. I own the Barena knit jacket and have tried on the Geller and Harris Wharf. If I could own one, it would be the Lanvin for sure. My Barena is fine, but I find it a little staid. The Geller Richard is ok if you want something very slouchy and lounge-y. But I find the Geller kind of cheap and flimsy, especially for the price.

Edit: meant to address el Bert. Wrong caption.

I have a old, busted KVA knit jacket which is prettty good.  The Robert Geller Richard varies a lot from season to season.  I have a 2012 one of 100% polyester which feels very substantial and durable.  Others, much more drapey and less so.

Barena is TTS for the most part, but some models I found to be too snug in my normal size and they do offer some models that are oversized. So you really need to try on or order from a place with an easy return policy. I have not been a fan of Barena the last few seasons. Carson Street used to carry some good stuff from the line as an aside.

Understood. By the way, I think your descriptions of the three jackets are very much spot on.
