Their IG is a mess right now

When a designer does it then it's an homage, not plagiarism.

And not trying to defend Zara in the slightest, but it's virtually impossible for a brand like that with hundreds of designers (many of them contractors I guess) to ensure that every piece of work (thousands per year) was not simply stolen (rather than "inspired").

Not that they even try or that they clean up the mess when something like this happens, because probably they don't.

Sucks for the designer but she's gonna go broke if she tries to take legal action.

I feel more for Peir Wu/Schneider who were as ripped off by COS, but less obvious because it didn't involve copying graphics.

If you want to see business build purely on blatant rip offs, look no further than furniture.

Any recommendations for a natural veg tan leather key fob, maybe one that's a loop, ideally with nickel hardware and relatively thick leather?

Does Zara sell them?

Never forget.

Ehhh even though it's not a super prolific aesthehic (Lemaire could be added to that list too, to a certain extent), it's slightly different. You could argue it's even more barefaced because it's a whole 'style', but that's what COS is now, doesn't feel the same as so specific a ripping off as what was shown with Zara

Spoiler (Click to show)
(totally also biased because both the brands you mentioned are not cheap, COS is making it (more) accessible)

Zara stealing from some independent artist and then saying that the artist isn't famous enough to matter. Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

Dude, my mind is drawing blank. Who is the SF member that is an academic, lives in UT, has a bajillion Inverallan knits, and would leave his wife to marry Margaret Howell? He makes those.

It's not listed on his website, but I have one from @DavidLane.

His website here:

The leather on mine isn't particularly thick, but a lot of his stuff is custom, so you can probably specify.

I'm almost 100% convinced that SLP Wyatt harness boots only look good if you either have A) small feet or B) big(ger) legs. Every time I see mine from the front I feel like they make my feet look gigantic :brick:

Do you really want to look like you have small feet?  What size are you, in clothing and in footwear?
