edit: wtf also located in the same state as me..... leaving the internet **** this

Awesome avatar, by the way. Perfect Blue is one my favourite movies.

That feeling when Black Friday is rolling around and there's absolutely nothing that I have my eye on.

I'm writing this Black Friday off. I need to save for my Asia trip.

I won't be allowed to wear T-shirts to work anymore. Sad story, I know.

Funny you say this, because today I'm testing the t-shirt with Robert Geller richard jacket combo at work - I'll let you know if I get away with it :)

edit: My hibiscus plant isn't doing so well, can anyone identify what's wrong with it?? The leaves look like they have dirt or rust on them

If you wipe the leaf with your hand and the black stuff comes off and it's grainy b/t your fingers, then it's probably aphid poop, meaning aphid infestation.

This happened to one of my plants.

Things I read online that I tried:
1) Spray the leaves, underside too, with a mixture of dish soap and water every few days to kill the aphids. (What I found: I didn't think it did much, but it's easy to do and probably killed some.)

2) Sprinkle diatomaceous earth all over the plant every few days (Probably works well, but I only did this once because I was afraid of inhaling the stuff.)

3) What I think saved my plant was I just took better care of it, and let it try to overcome the infestation itself. I went online to find soil mixture recommendations, made my own soil and changed out the cheap store soil. I put the plant in a sunny corner. I made sure not to overwater. Plant's doing well now. Still aphid poop on a few leaves so they're still around, but the plant seems like it's shrugging them off; it's making a lot of new leaves.

Agreed - it looks like aphids rather than fungus. The plant's probably weak which is why it's being attacked so much. Check surrounding plants too. Wiping the leaves with a cotton bud using an 8 part water to 1 part methalayted spirits and three good drops of washing up liquid should help kill them off, but for such an infestation the plant is probably weak - could be over-feeding and too much young growth (reduce feeding for a while), could be underfeeding (If you haven't been feeding at all give it a light feed, preferably not too high in nitrogen).. Could be lack of light producing weak growth, could be it needs a better draining soil mix.

You could also buy a few hundred live ladybugs from amazon to unleash on the aphids.

Will be going for a trip to Seoul tomorrow.

Anything interesting to seek out for style and fashion over there? Sincere thanks.

Note: please don't ask me to collect refunds from that TOJ guy. LOL!

There's also a ton of feeding damage on the leaves. They are almost transparent.
