Enzo Bonafe Handmade Shoes. - Page 62

For a rough boot, I would recommend their Suportlo leather. Colour 41 and 21 are both very nice. It's a quite greasy leather, similar (possibly the same) to that which Heschung and Paraboot uses.

Thanks for the heads up on Suportlo, it looks like a good leather for what I'm looking for.

Anyone up for a GMTO, museum calf seamless wholecut on the 946 last with topy and flush metal taps?

Basically same shoe as this one:

http://www.skoaktiebolaget.se/collections/enzo-bonafe/products/enzo-bonafe-seamless-wholecut

With a couple modifications as noted above. Could also be persuded to go with a norwegian welt on them...Anyone interested?

Luckily they don't carry navy or even purple museum calf, or I have been tempted.

I am about to purchase my first Enzo and had a quick question: Does the 804 or the 946 fit like Carmina Rain? I have heard it both ways and am slightly confused...

I find the 804 actually fits slightly roomier than Carmina Rain in the same size.

Would you also say it's roomier (across the ball and toes) than 946? in the same size / width.

I take 7 in 804, 7.5 in 946, 7.5 in rain. 804 is longer than rain in same size

Yes

How does the 946 compare to Rain in terms of volume? Larger fitting or smaller? I wear a 9UK in Rain, but while I could go to 9.5UK in length, the shoe would be far too voluminous for me. If the 946 fits larger than Rain in that respect, it wont fit me.

Most noticeable difference on my feet, higher instep on the eb. Maybe slightly wider across the ball as well.

Wore my new spectators today in a casual look with an OCBD and some navy chinos! I'm really loving them.  Way more versatile then I thought they'd be.
