Yea, I gotta say I got pretty lucky reading EB has a high instep most of the time, which saved me quite a bit of money 😎

Cross post from Skoaktie thread:

Hey all

I think I'm going to sell my U.K. size 9 Tsarnjo Chukkas from the latest GMTO. I've worn them once and they sit in shoe trees. Damn great boots but way too similar to a pair of E.G. Banburys I have.

Before I post em on For Sale forum, wanted to check in with thread participants.

Shoot me a note.

Thanks
Mike

My biggest problem is finding new shoes and boots that I really love that DON'T duplicate something I already own.  #firstworldproblems  A lot of guys seem to not mind having multiple very similar pairs, but overlap kind of bugs me.  I'd happily take those off your hands if I weren't in on the second run - just awesome chukkas.

Too bad mockingboy's pair will be too small for you.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that maybe the will work. A used pair would be perfect for me since I don't really have a favorite brand yet and I know that if they were owned by a guy in this forum they were well cared for. It's ok if you have had them for years. Hope to hear from others too😁

Some of the good stuff!

Have a great weekend!

After a few months wait I finally got the Bonafe trial shoes for my personal last. Ordered at the Skoaktiebolaget trunk show in spring. The last should be based on 804, but you can see that my forefoot is considerably wider.

The trial shoe has just a rudimentary sole and the aubergine leather is not yet finished. Two spots have to be widened slightly, otherwise I like it very much.

This is a comparison with the Carmina Simpson last, my best fitting last so far. Carmina is UK 9 with lots of wasted space at the tip. My foot was estimated by Bonafe as UK 7,5!

Both are great but I really like the looks of the Carmins. Like the design of the toe. How long have you had them? They still look new 😁
