Considering my first Enzo Bonafe shoes and am looking for some sizing advice. Most of my shoes are Carmina, with a few C&J sprinkled in. Can anyone with experience with the 2102 last chime in on how it compares to Carmina. For reference, here is my Carmina sizing:

Simpson 11.5UK
Rain between 11 and 11.5UK
Inca 11 UK
Filadelphia 11UK
Forest 11 UK
Soller 11 UK

Thanks!

From my experience, I'd recommend sizing down 1/2 a size for oxfords. The 804 last is considerably longer than the 946 last in the same size. The difference is smaller between 804 and Rain, but it's still there. But then again, I believe the majority of people don't size down. So again, to be clear, this was my experience. I've been visiting SkoAB for the last couple of months hoping they'd have size UK7,5 on the 804 so I could test it/confirm that I'm a size UK7,5 since, well, everything else was pointing towards that direction. But when I was there last week and they didn't have any UK7,5 in stock I said to myself what the hell, why not try size UK7. And obviously, that was the right size for me.
exactly my experience and sizing.

8uk simpson, 7.5uk rain, 7.5 946, 7 804.

i actually had to return ship my 7.5 804 to get the 7 because it was that much longer

the more i wear the 804, the more i like it over the 946.

Is this for all shoes & boots lace ups including suede? That you take 7UK on 804 last?

i don't own suede nor derbies (in those brands), 964 are button boots. 804 is an oxford.

I know it's been discussed a lot the past few days, but I've been getting conflicting advice from here and Skoak on the 804 last (it's a suede jodhpur, if that matters). Skoak recommends 6.5UK but the advice here would seem to suggest I go 6UK. I like to wear my shoes quite tight. Can anyone give some more advice?

Allen Edmonds 65 Last: 7.5D
Meermin Hiro: 6.5UK
Wolverine 1000 Mile - 7D (but I think 6.5 would be a better fit)
RM Williams McQuarie - 6.5F (could be a bit wider)
Viberg 2030: 6.5

Recommendation is same size as rain. In your case size 6.5UK but some ppl go down half a size. And you won't know this till you try the shoes on once you get them.

Actually I was very careful to point out that most of the people go with the same size as Rain. That is the general recommendation as well. Sizing down 1/2 a size from Rain/946 to 804 was just my personal experience. You'll have to weigh in your experience in regard to width/length and actual measurements with the Rain/946 lasts and relate it to the 804 measurements and take into account SkoAB's recommendation as well. The latter is considerably longer than 946, but not so much compared to Rain, but there's still a considerable difference in length.

I've been recommended to go down a half size from skoak because the 804 is long. But I'm not sure what to do because the rain could be longer and be okay on me, and I don't want something that is much narrower in the heel. I think if you're getting conflicting advice, the only real solution is to try it on. If it costs you money to do that (returns, customs, etc.), then you just need to bite the bullet if you like the shoe enough. But then you'll know your size.

I wish I could, but unfortunately it's for a GMTO and there are no returns.

risky business. then the options are obviously to wait and try on a stock model first or hope that they fit. but before you do that, just take a look at the B&S forum for "Bonafe" some beautiful tried-on-once (G)MTO's there....

@DonRaphael

We are the exact same size. Thanks for the input, I may try the 804 in 7 and not 7G (which I think I prefer for the 946). I can wear the 946 in 7.5, but after a long day my feet swell and the toe box pinches. Feels a quarter size too long, too.

I'm just worried about my high instep.

What I like about the 946 in G is the toe; someone posted an Oxford in this width and the toe seemed like G&G MH71, even EB's own 2102B (which I think is underrated).

@borbor

Why do you like the 804 over the 946?

@Leaves

Does EB offer the 804 and 2102B in G width? I know 946 has many widths...
