Not in the least. With pants, only a little bit of the shaft is going to be shown, the bottom wing and the bottom 2-3 eyelets at most. Focus will still be on the beautiful hatch grain, with a little bit of darkness just above. I'm sure it's going to turn out great.

Agree with too much texture. BUT you guys nailed it with the white/cream chained and the closely trimmed welt. I'm sure it will be a stunner when made up.

We can agree to disagree over the texture :)

I'm super excited to see how they execute a closely cut welt for Norvegese. I think it's such a stunner that you should join the GMTO! You definitely need another pair of boots for that weather in Toronto ;)

The blue version over on Reddit almost had me....  :)

On another note.  Any of my narrower fitting friends on here want to rally together and generate some GMTO ideas?

946E is a hair larger than Carmina Simpson from what I can tell.

@cattitude can help guide us with fitting suggestions/advice, its in this thread already.  Page 68

@CanadaCal - count me in for any future discussion on a 946E GMTO - I'm not creative though...so I'm open to ideas.

How would you say Enzo bonafe narrow last compare to let say AE park avenue C or B width?

@TtownMD - this is hard to say, because the lasts are pretty different.  I'm usually a standard US D width across the board 9.5US, though I do have a narrower heel.  I have a normal instep and I prefer the toebox to have extra room.  The 946E is closer to the standard US D width in my opinion, due to the wide heel cup and the high instep of the 946F.  The toebox could use a bit more room in the 946E, but its manageable for me.  946E would be perfect for me with a wider F width toebox, but with the 946E heel and instep.  To me that version approximates a more standard D width.

That being said, to your AE question, I fit a 9.5D park avenue, but the fit isn't great because the toebox is too tight and the heel cup is too loose.  10C park avenue fits slightly better at the heel, but is a bit loose overall, though I have better toebox room.  It isn't a great last for me.  I don't these lasts have a lot in common to be honest, so not sure if that helps.  I haven't tried B width, so I can't speak to that.

How does anybody feel about a chelsea on the 804 round toe last?

I'm interested in theory, but I'm waiting to get my black stitch cap to see how well I can fit the 804.
I'm not sure if the 804 presents itself well on a chelsea, but maybe the guys at Skoak can showcase something. Also, the 74945 is kind of a chiseled round last, so maybe that last would work well too.

Scroll up and see thunders Jodhs on 804. Would look the same. Both would work well IMO

I think a chelsea would be very sleek looking if you got it on the 804 with a rounded waist (either the bombé or the blake japanese waist). Not as much without a rounded waist.
