So can we confirm that Enzo's construction is a bona fide handwelt?
ie. carving out the holdfast from the insole itself, and no use of gemming (hand or otherwise).

Actually scratch that, just realised there are a few videos on YouTube showing Bonafe's construction.

Hi Leaves,

Any possibilities of you stocking up the wholecut with seam in Aubergine calf again?

I remember you used to have that option in your website but now only the seamless version is available .

Tks.

I could certainly be mistaken, but I believe that was in Etrusco.

In any event, I'd also like to see that offered again, along with the black :bigstar:

The version with the seam in the heel counter was in Etrusco. It's out of stock. We have a black wholecut incoming (with seam). http://www.skoaktiebolaget.se/pages/skoaktiebolaget-upcoming-arrivals

Tks Eric for the correction. But yes, that is the one I was referring to.

Hi Leaves,

Will it be restock in the near future? Tks.

A gmto might be a good option! I have a feeling it might be well received.

Hi, I am pulling an interest check to do a GMTO for an Enzo Bonafe Austerity Brogue done in the following style.

It will be a pair with smooth calf and grain leather (both in black).

Enzo Bonafe
Last: 74945 (rounded last with chiseled profile), F width
Leather : C – Black Calf Leather
Leather : Gr – Black Grain Calf Leather (Inca Nero)
Lining: Natural Calf Lining

I am checking on pricing with the folks in Skoaktiabolaget, and will report back later. Let's see if we can pull 3 or more before the price increase sets in next month. Thanks for reading.

After another day wearing these I just wanted to post my love for my EB Black Peccary Button Boots:

They're amazingly comfortable, pretty damn versatile with wool pants and even skinny black denim.  So glad I got the dainite soles on them, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to wear them at all this winter, as opposed to 1-2x a week.

Be free, button boots, be free:

IMO button boots need to make a comeback.  They're fantastic.  Move over Chelseas/Jodhpurs.

You lost me at "black skinny jeans" but the awesomeness of the boots is undeniable.

Oh, man ,yes indeed.  I did not see myself wearing any button boots until I saw that makeup.  As I said before they ARE an ICON now for me at least. I am patient though.

That Button Boot in Black/Black Peccary, initially an initiative from @RogerP (respect), has made two GMTO rounds already and if there's interest we will make it a third.

Will also mention that I've ordered a Black Calf/Black Peccary Balmoral boot for fall as a stock style. Something to look forward to. smile.gif Willl definitely snag a pair for myself, can't get enough of Bonafè.

Yes RogerP is a bad influence for many of us. Sometimes I whish he could get some long long hollidays here. :)  I am waiting for my EB boots and some other beauties, so I better keep calm for a while.

I think the same type but in brown tones would be a great change too!
