@RogerP

Thank you very much my friend.

804 indeed.

Are you still taking a UK 8.5 for Carmina Rain?  Or is it 9?

These are UK 9.5 "G" fitting.  The fit is right on the money.

They are indeed a little long, but I actually like it.

Cheers my man. In a tall boot I go 9 in Rain.

I would recommend the same size in 804 then.

You should be fine.

The only way I would be reluctant is if it were a balmoral style, but even then it should work.

Thank you for organising. I'm fairly easygoing and will be ok with most permutations, last, hippo shaft only, etc. But with the only caveat of it being a non black boot.

I think you'll fit into this GMTO just fine :nodding:

Have you considered the 100556 last for this style? There's a gorgeous derby posted that was available on the JP market. Seems slightly better balanced. Alas, only one member seems to have tried it. I believe sizing was the same as with the 804: half size down from 946.

Norwegian market! wink.gif

Have had several models made up on the last previously, like one called 3775. Probably some pictures out there.
The last 2012026 is also one I'd recommend.

Nope, I don't know anything about that one at all.

Anyone have experience with the 12056 last? Really want the below loafers, but it seems like a very uncommon last (searched this thread and emailed Skoak). I don't own any EBs so a comparison to a Carmina last would be great.

PS: My pair will be in Vitello Bleu calf if anyone is interested in joining a MTO.

I was thinking of ordering that loafer in a black peccary calf with a black calf strap with violet lining and a black fiddle back waist. I was wondering if that would interest you or someone else please chime in, thanks.

You dont need to use that last... you can do an MTO on whatever last you want. Honestly looks pretty similar to the 946

I had a peccary shoe once. Wouldn't do it again. Scuffs very easily and raindrops seemed to fall right through it. For the shaft of a boot it is amazeballs, though.

It's not yet become an issue, but preemptively: let's please keep discussion of the Bonafe hippo boot GMTO confined to the appropriate thread: ENZO BONAFÉ MTO and GMTO Central. That way you can all argue about designs in one place!
