Can anyone vouch for the cut and/or quality of their shirts? How is the 'Felix' shirt cut?

Frances May, in Portland, which is a store that probably exemplifies the typical Styleforum look, in spite of the absence of various Styleforum favorites (notably, Common Projects and Wings+Horns, and Margiela), carries Unis:

It's notable that the store is in a gentrified part of the whitest city in America. My wife likes a lot of their stuff. I like individual pieces, but honestly, like to style my stuff with a little more of an edge. I can imagine that if I had ended up in the private sector, doing consulting work, or whatever, that I'd look like their models.

Unis makes very nice clothes. The quality is typical Made in New York, which is to say that they do a good, but not stellar job (you need to go over the Pacific or the Atlantic for that).

They sell most of their collection online. It's a great brand, really nice people. Been around for 9 years now. Almost everything, if not everything, is made in USA, so I'm not sure about that China business. At least I know all of their shirting and trousers are made in New York, USA. We have a feature on the brand coming in the next issue of Inventory, but their shop is definitely worth a visit. Their shirts, chinos and outwear is all very good. http://shop.unisnewyork.com/

bumping this up. Nice sale going on at their web site. I just ordered the Jimmy Shirt in heather gray. The web site says the material is from Japan but it's made in the USA. I'll post my impressions when it comes in.

Measurements too when you get it? That'd be awesome. Their sizing chart on their website is kind of meh.

Some sizing info I got from Saager at Unis sometime last year. I think the Jimmy runs similar to the Adam. Felix XS: Pit to Pit = 19 Cross Back = 16 1/8 Body Length = 28 1/2 Arm Length (from underarm) = 21 7/8 Neck = 15  Felix S: Pit to Pit = 20 1/4 Cross Back = 16 1/2 Body Length = 29 1/2 Arm Length (from underarm) = 22 Neck = 15 3/8 Adam S: Pit to Pit = 20 3/8 Cross Back = 16 3/8 Body Length = 28 1/2 Arm Length (from underarm) = 21 1/8 Neck = 15 1/2 Jack XS: Pit to Pit = 20 3/4 Cross Back = 16 3/4 Body Length = 27 3/8 Arm Length (from underarm) = 22 7/8 Jack S: Pit to Pit = 22 Cross Back = 17 Body Length = 27 1/2 Arm Length (from underarm) = 23 Lee XS: Pit to Pit = 19 Cross Back = 15 3/4 Body Length = 28 Lee S: Pit to Pit = 19 1/2 Cross Back = 15 3/4 Body Length = 28 3/8

Ugh seriously? 15.75 S2S on a 19.5 P2P? (Lee S, but all of them are proportioned similarly) Guess I would have to dart a size M or L or buy slimmer shirts. Too bad.

Got the shirt. The fabric is beautiful but unfortunately it's too small in the shoulders and pit to pit for me.
Jimmy shirt in M

Shoulder to shoulder - 17"
Pit to pit - 20"
Sleeve - 28"
Length - 32"

I'm exchanging it for a large.
