I'm thinking of grabbing some Gio's as my next pair of serious chinos, does anyone have measurements for a size 32? I'm especially interested in waist and hem measurements...

Same^^, except anyone with measurements of a size 28 or 30, been wanting a nice high quality slim chino.

I can measure up a 29 and a 30 tomorrow. Do you want just the waist, or other measurements, too? I've had the 30 hemmed, so I can't give a reliable inseam or leg opening on that pair, but I haven't brought the 29 to the tailor yet. Lucky for you I haven't had the waist on the 30 brought in yet, either!

Just did some measurements guys.

Waist fits true to size.

30" = 15"
31" = 15.5"
32" = 16"

Hem

30" = 7.75"
32" = 8"

Hey guys with all this being said we are getting the slim gio as well. Same top cut but a more of a taper, similar to the GIO of two years ago. They are shipping end of september so I will let you know with respect to hem measurements when they come in (we are getting every colour).

If you guys have any questions shoot me an email jonathan@shoplostfound.com.

A slimmer Gio with more like a 7" hem would be fantastic, I'd kop with the quickness

Ahhh the hem width and the waist is just fine, generally if the hem is thin, the thigh is perfect. Thanks btw!

Unless you're pretty tall or like wearing pants that are too long, you'll need to get the hem taken up anyway, at which point you could get them tapered a little, too. Just saying. wink.gif

I think I missed this: what is your relation to Unis, jhoo? Do you work there?

Ah sorry. No, I don't work there. We carry Unis in store. We're located in Toronto, Canada, called lost & found. I've worked with Unis/Eunice for a while now and have the utmost respect for both her and her product.

PSA for Toronto people, if you're into the 'grass green' (ie bright light green a la eyetalian) color, NOMAD's got several pairs (including a 28) on sale for about 60-75% off. I think they're $150 instead of $280? plus they ship worldwide too... Note, they're not the original slim cut but the more recent fit. Still very trim, but not super slim. I'd say my W&H Westpoints in the same size are similar but noticeably narrower.
