The last challenge was again won by EFV and me, so we had to agree on a new challenge a second time. We shared some good ideas, and decided for a "suit and loafers" challenge, since this leaves enough space for interpretation and for choosing different kinds of materials independent from your location around the globe.
It's a great kind of 'casual' look when done well and contributes to the rising temperatures of late spring and early summer.
We know that this topic will be a bit controversial for some of the SFers, but we are hoping for some good outfits to take a different look on this combination.

The rules:

1. Outfit must include a suit (jacket and trousers in the same material) and a pair of loafers.

2. Outfit must be worn this week.

3. Poll goes up Sunday evening Austrian time.

Inspiration (Rubinacci, Prince of Wales, Agnelli, BnTailor, Armoury, etc.)

Entrants:

I think the best way to wear loafers with a suit is to go all out banker, and luckily that fits my job description. What I wore to work today:

Suit & Loafers? Thinking about doing this more often.

Not enough natural light, so the colours are a bit off:

Here's my entry with my one and only suit. xpost from WAYWRN

My entry with my one and only pair of loafers.

H. Lesser 13 oz suit, Alumo shirt, Drake's tie, Roda PS, Calzificio Palatino olive green socks and Belgravia from Edward Green. Watch keeping the shirtcuff high on one of the pictures.

Wore this fit to work today...but as it so happens, it was "one of those days" at the office. So no opportunities for photos.

Instead, on arriving home I fired up the camera remote app, bumped ISO to many thousands, and snapped these selfies entirely by effete incandescent wattage.

From yesterday, for the challenge, then . . .

My entry.

vote me, heal me

It's on.

Whoa.

This will be very interesting. Potentially a bit more controversial than your average challenge (a good thing, of course).

Cheers,

Hmm, I only own one pair of loafers. They'll have to do.

It appeals to the subversive side of my nature - I'm in.
