Chukkas - Suggestions?

I want a pair of Chukkas, since nobody wants to part with an 8.5 Lands End/Sargent.

What do you fellas think is a good buy? Nothing in the Lobb/EG stratosphere, but plal C&J was a thought. (Once the Doc translated the pricing -- thanks Doc!).

I would prefer a bit cheaper than the C&Js, but would like suggestions from the forum.



I know this isn't a dead horse issue, but I love that icon.

I found to be reasonable and quick. They have some Chukka's listed for Loake. I have a pair from them in tan that I enjoy.

I have no idea if these are as amazing as the photos appear, or if they're in your price-range, but as soon as I saw the "8.5" size I thought of these Borrelli chukkas.

They've been listed on eBay at that same buy-it-now price for at least three months, so perhap the seller may be willing to entertain a lower offer.
