I was thinking of preordering those chinos. Boring, maybe. But it is also quite hard to find a solid pair (imo) and I would appreciate having before the end of the season.
I think I'm in for a Reason Jumper in Sand and some Lemaire Chino's, depending on the fit of the Schneider.
@SuspensionPoint Is the Reason a pretty standard fit? I would need a VII either way which probably won't get ordered by anybody so this is likely my only chance. I generally need something like a 23-24" chest and 19" shoulders, hopefully not too short in the body, is that about right for the Reason?
And for the Lemaire chinos, I really like the stone colour but was there anything like the Verdigris from this season available?
@accordion We love Walter's work and if a few people pre-order some runway styles (hint...hint...hint) we'll be happy to have it back in the store selection.
@NaTionS I won't say they are cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but the Craig Green jackets are not as much as you might think (and the current situation with the GBP is helping at the moment)! The color-block versions (six color-ways) are well priced and the more complex hand-blocked printed version with the lacing (4 color-ways) are more, but not too bad. It is a great opportunity to get the specific color-way you want and we try to price our pre-orders reasonably. If interested contact us at email@example.com.
@conceptionist This season's Lemaire is one of my favorite collections from him. Really liked it when I went to the runway, but loved it after my visit to the showroom.
Regarding the Chinos, they are a clean design and easy to wear, but not boring in my opinion. The cotton-linen gabardine will age nicely with wear and the cut has just enough of the classic Lemaire shape to be interesting.
They are available in more color-ways (and a coated cotton as well), but the Stone is probably the closest to the Verdigris. A nice tobacco brown and some variations on white, grey, and black. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
@OccultaVexillum The Lemaire Long Shirt is available in a Light Cotton Twill (so not a poplin), but no other heavier weight fabrics.
As for the Stephan Schneider sweater, the fit is in line with his heavier knitwear so if you have experience in anything from past seasons go with that size. How tall are you? In the showroom it appeared to be regular length. Definitely not short / cropped.
@KaleidoscopicK We may have a version of the Cardigan Hello in store for SS17, but we definitely won't have all the color-ways available. The idea of the pre-order is to give customers a chance to get the specific color-way they want which may be difficult to find / track down.
Understood. I may only be able to justify one pre-order so I'll have to give this some thought!
