What to wear under a cardigan? - Page 2

For me its all about shirts.. pretty much any kind (even denim). I dont wear thin cardigans anymore though, just so tired of that look.

I think it depend on the cardigan. Some cardigans wont ever look right with tee shirts...

not meaning to hijack thread but whats everyones thoughts on a collared dress shirt underneath, with the sleeves rolled over sleeves of the cardigan? too busy?

When I wear a cardigan, it's normally slim fit and a conservative solid color and I try and pair it with a long sleeve solid color t-shirt from HM or AA or a solid color button up shirt. I'm not a fan of the striped t-shirt look with a cardigan but if you're younger it looks good, just not my style. I tried the henley under a cardigan look too, that looked good and provied another chance for layering if you want to put a solid T under the henley

never a polo

really? My motto is never a Tshirt.....I like a polo with some cardigans (lighterweight ones), buttoned all the way up. But I realize most don't wear their polos that way
