Philip Glass did the Illusionist? I had no idea. It's a shame that the end of the movie was so "Usual Suspects."

I never got around to seeing the Fountain, but I think Clint Mansell's work on Requiem was excellent. I also liked Yann Tierson's Amelie and Jon Brion's Eternal Sunshine.

Actually the Zither music ‘The Harry Lime Theme’ of The Third Man, by Anton Karas was not originally composed for the movie, Karas composed and played the music in a local Viennese Wine Bar that Reed and Welles used to frequent, and they liked the tune so much that reed incorporated it into the movie.

Anyways, I agree with some of the abovementioned selections, so I won’t repeat them, but I will add:
