Its pretty good stuff, but it has somewhat of a strong smell. When you place an order with www.budapester.de, they will include a free can in the appropriate color.

Is there any other place that sells it?

I think packaging is very important. In fact, I don't own any Isaia because I don't like their label design.

Burgol is mostly sold in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Even here it is rather hard to come by, as very few shops sell it.

You might want to take a look at this link, though:
(I´ve no relations to the seller in any way.)

Hope that helps.

Guess I'm a little dense but how the heck do you get to the English selectionon the site?

The polish is really nice but what you definitely should try are their brushes. Not cheap (around 25 Euro iirc), but worth every cent. I never knew how much a difference a really nice brush could make until I tried a Burgol brush!

You just went up another notch in my book. That is one of the best stands on aesthetic principles I've heard in a long time.

Neither Burgol nor CSSS have an English section. But if you´re on the shoe-shine-site, there´s a search function on the upper right hand side. Just type in Burgol and you´ll see the products. The rest is rather self-explanatory and doesn´t require deeper German language skills, I guess. But if you need a hand, pm me.

I just happen to like the overall presentation. That is something that the Japanese do very well and others not so well.

I used to also make judgments on watches based on their packaging.

Indeed, I am the Label-King. I find Attolini's label very pleasing especially if the store name is included and Brioni's not that interesting.

I was more focused on his refusal to wear Isaia based on the label, but I'll admit that packaging can be important. If the packaging is well designed, often it means it's a well thought out product in total. And with something like shoe polish where it's difficult to evaluate its quality until you try it, that can be important.
