As a lace up man, I have never owned a pair of loafers and have often been contemptuous of them. Then I happened upon a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo Studio suede loafers -- normally $390 but on sale for $285 -- and my eyes popped out. It was a beautiful, elegant shoe, ideal for casual or even office, and I immediately tried them on. There were a little tight (I'm more 11.5 UK than 12 US) so I tried to see if there was a pair in 13 but there wasn't. However, I so loved the shoes that I paid for them and came home thinking, 'What the heck, I'll break them in'.

Well, much as I love them, I now realise they really are a bit tight. Before I return them to the store, I thought I would gauge interest in SF. I will offer them here for a little less ($270 + shipping to CONUS) because that will save me the bother of driving back and queueing up for a refund...

Needless to say it is unworn, brand new. Some kind of number has been scribbled on the sole near the heel, I guess to make sure it's not returned at full price.

I do not own a digital camera but if there is serious interest in this kind of shoe, I will try and borrow one and post pictures.

Thanks.
