I have some Onitsuka Tigers, in white with blue stripes, but they don't seem especially appropriate for jeans with sweaters or long sleeved shirts.

Any suggestions? Casual...comfortable...relatively cheap...preferably an earth tone instead of white. Help me out!

Tigers don't work well in the fall because they are thin and light. I have a pair myself and the look is a bit odd in the cooler weather. Go for some boots. Fryes, Clarks, Red Wing, etc...

I should note I live in the pacific northwest, so it rarely gets below 40. Boots may not be entirely comfortable/appropriate.... thanks

i'm a seattlelite, and let me tell you, boots are a great way to keep rain away from your jeans, and keep your jeans from dragging around on the sidewalks!

Why do you guys all wear the same stuff?

It seems as if once an article passes mass approval, everyone starts wearing/wanting it.

I wonder if this forum were to stage a meeting for all its members how many would be sporting Red Wing boots under 5EP jeans?

Huh? They're talking fashionable boots, not snowmobile boots.

So I've looked at boots, and I want to avoid them. I'd rather get something kind of like my Tigers, which can be worn comfortably in summer as well. Like Tigers, but a little heavier with more of an ankle...ideas?

Sounds like what you are looking for is a shoe.

Exactly.

Apc sheepskin lined crepe sole boots or hi top mocs, both beautiful. They even have a burnt orange suede dessert boot that's not on the website.

Nothing wrong witj hi top sneakers in the winter. If you live in an atea where its frequently snows you have to he careful with your AEs and Aldens and such because salt can wreak havoc on them. I try to rock my nicer shoes in the Fall before the snow comes. Just something to keep in mind.
