Vintage Longwings for those blessed with large feet

ENDING TONIGHT I've got a pair of vintage Freeman Longwing bluchers listed on eBay this week. Seeing as there are few shoes of this size listed in this forum, I thought I'd post this here. Freeman was a US maker of classic business shoes that went belly up in the early '90s. Their top of the line shoes were in the same ballpark as Florsheim and J&M. This particular pair is in a black Scotch Grain with double leather soles and fully lined in leather. The heels have been newly replaced. These are gunboats and not for the faint of heart, but they are classic American business dress shoes and could potentialy last a lifetime. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=tab%3DSelling More pics on eBay

I went to the Ebay listing and saw they are a size 13.

I'm not "Blessed" with large feet.

Won't work for me. Being that these Freemans are a large size and gunboats, they are probably the size of small amphibious vehicles. But they truly are classics that can last forever, and gunboats (even with jeans) are definitely in right now.

How do these fit compared to the Alden Barrie last?

I am a 13 in just about everything except most Alden's. These are exactly what I am looking for, just not sure if they'd fit.

Didn't realize I had actually failed to mention the size. Gracias.

By the way the left shoe was actually featured in the opening sequence of "Saving Private Ryan".

Interior heel to toe is 12". I'm not sure how that compares with the Barrie. Let me know if you want exterior measurements although with the generous welting all around, this could be somewhat misleading.
