I am looking for members opininons.
I need a night cream/day cream for combination skin (antiaging) and also cream that would help tired or puffy eyes.

Please post only if you had personal experience with a product.

Thank you.

I would recommend an ice pack in the morning if your face is puffy. You can put it on while you're doing crunches. I can do a thousand now.

As a general daily post-shave/moisturizer/anti-aging, etc. I like Chanel's "Technique" pour homme. It's Chanel's only cosmetic/cream specifically designed for men (I believe). Anyway, I've been using it for a few years and really like it. You used to be able to get it from Gloss.com, but they've since switched over and sell all the Chanel goods on their own website.

Shiseido Men also makes a great series of creams and such. Their "Daily Revitalizer" is quite good, but more exensive than the Chanel for a similar product. I'd recommend the "Travel Pack" because it has smaller sizes in a 3-step treatment of facial cleanser, hydrating tonic (or toning tonic, depending whether you want hydration or toning), and then a smaller size of the revitalizer. The entire travel pack is about half as much as the full-size revitalizer by itself. I always get my Shiseido when I go back to Japan, but I know that they sell it here in the US as well... but am not sure where (perhaps Sephora or some of the major department stores?)

I used to use Creme de la Mer but didn't feel the price justified its results which weren't necessarily that fantastic.

Now I use Erno Laszlo's Timeless Night Overnight Serum which apparently contains Emu Oil.

Actually they sell Shiseido even at Macy's. I heard it is good, natural skin care product .
One thing:
1. I'd be very weary of any skin product "specifically formulated for men". In my mind it says: "we made it in manly packages but with half-ingridients of women's line, cause those blokes don't know **** anyhow".

)
I only buy women's skin-care products.

Do you have strict regulations for skin-care products in Japan?
I know the best testing and regulation for those are in EU, but perhaps Japan is the same in this respect.
We have almost none of FDA controls in US. I am hesitant to buy cosmetic products made by US companies, as they are chalk full of chemical junk, whose long-term effects are not known or tested.

Actually, I think these are specifically designed for men because men and women having different types of skin... especially in the facial area where we shave (most women don't need to shave their beards/mustaches on a daily/weekly basis). So, in this case, I don't think that it's just a half-assed line intended to make a quick buck. The products I suggested are very good and not absurdly expensive, which is why I recommended them. My best suggestion would be to obtain a sample and see what you think for yourself. I think the Chanel is about $40 and the Shiseido travel pack about $30-40, while the revitalizer (full size) is perhaps $80. If money is no object and you want a women's product, Chanel's Sublimage Essential Regenerating Cream is very nice as well. Nevertheless, I didn't find it to be THAT much better than either the Technique or the Shiseido, despite being 5x's as expensive (I think a 50ml container runs $300 or so). I'm sure there are many differences that make one better, but my skin isn't THAT sensitive or damaged enough to justify/feel the price difference. But, I'll be the first to admit it's sort of like somebody only driving 1 mile per day on city streets not really being able to feel the difference between a Honda and a Bentley. As for Japanese cosmetics, well, I have no idea about the legalities but in general Japan is quite rigorous in its checks for all health-related issues. So, I think you'd be fine. As well, Shiseido, Kanebo, Shu Uemura, etc. at the top-end make some of the best and most expensive cosmetics in the world. EDIT: Looking through my medicine cabinet, I have found some partially-used containers of things I've used over the past several years and will give my impressions. I think all of these are still on the market (I purchased them all in Japan, but I'm sure they are sold here as well): Clarins "Fluide Lift Anti Rides Jour" or Advanced Extra Firming Day lotion. I wasn't that thrilled with it; my skin is a little dry and so the added moisturizing elements in the Shiseido (and the Chanel) seemed much better. So, it sits mostly unused as it seemed to protect/firm, but didn't moisturize. Chanel Hydramax + Moisture Boost cream, comes in two forms, a Gel and a Creme. I liked the gel, but again not as well as the Technique PH, especially in the area where I'd shave. So, I wouldn't really recommend this one either, except maybe for trying a sample first. This one seemed the opposite of the Clarins... it still felt too oily after application. The Shiseido, Technique, and Sublimage all went on clean, which I like.

I use Revive eye cream and gel together. It's the only one that really works.

if you're trying to avoid "chock full of chemicals" products then 'ren' is likely one of your better bets

www.renskincare.com
one of the few lines with no petrochemicals, no parabens, no sulfates, no synthetic colours, dyes, additives, silicones, etc etc etc

korres natural products is another good choice

www.korres.com

... and there are a lot of men's only lines out there, by companies that only produce men's products, menscience, baxter of california, mensgroom, anthony, menaji, etc. all with excellent eye products to solve your problem

Re-vive line sounds like a infomertial gimmick to me. What did you like about it. The spiel they give about some molecule that they found as a result of research does not convince me. There were no clinical trials supporting any of his findings.
