NWT Polo Ralph Lauren brown heavy linen 3B sportscoat (44L)

Here is a 44L (maybe 44XL) Polo Ralph Lauren brown heavy linen, single breasted 3 button sportscoat. It is very soft and unconstructed, mostly unlined, has a center vent and the fabric is a very nice, substantial herringbone.

I'd like $150 shipped CONUS, OBO

Measurements: shoulders (flat across)=20, chest (under arms)=23 1/2, waist (middle button)=22 1/2, length (collar bottom)=33 1/2, sleeves=27"

I was asked via PM for a picture of the fabric tag. There is no other content tag than the blue one pictured here. The coat is made in Italy

I'm gonna go ahead and bump this. It's a really great coat and if you're a 44L or XL, you owe yourself to buy it

Bump and reduced to $140 shipped.

As with my Brioni sale, I'd very much appreciate feedback. Is it too expensive? Are pictures that bad?

Despite selling a reasonable amount in the last month, I have a tough time discovering what the group will or won't want
I think that it's a very nice jacket at a reasonable price.. I'd buy it except, I have one just like it and the sleeves with working buttons are too long for me

My two cents greg, and keep in mind that I don't sell as much stuff as people think I sell nor do I know as much as I think I do , center vent jackets are a very tough sell. Off season fabrics are very tough sell. Large length jackets are a tough sell and I find size 44L to be one of the least demanded, for whatever reason. I have a 44L Ox which I am 99% certain I will need to take to ebay. I'd hold this jacket if I were you until spring. All that being said, this forum is amazing in that if you can wait long enough and your prices are reasonable (which I think this jacket is), almost everything sells. I'm just an impatient person

I'm new to this selling lark, so I'm just finding my feet. But I think the bottom line is time. There are a lot of people here who want to buy great clothes at good prices but a week's exposure isn't always long enough to find them at the right time. If reasonably quick turnover is important to you, you won't sell everything on here and will have to go to eBay where the market is so much bigger.

Also, the market is very intelligent here - buyers know that price reductions and eBay will eventually come, so if they're in two minds, they'll wait. Only if they really love the item (or the level of discount is insane) and have been waiting for something like that to be posted for ages will they jump in straightaway to beat the competition to the item.

I normally would be all over this but I have a Zegna that is virtually identical. I don't mind buying out of season fabrics but I usually will wait until they get discounted.

I usually have a hard time finding 44L listed on SF. The people around here seem to be smaller in stature than over at AAAC.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll let this one sit for a while and hopefully some 44L with long arms will find this rare deal
