Bespoke Loden 3 Button Jacket 36

SOLD

This jacket is beautifully made...obviously bespoke as the construction is first rate, the fabric and lining substantial, the work of a true craftman. Yet there isn't one label in the jacket. It is a subtle Loden green in a very heavy flannel, definitely fall/winter weight. It has beautiful buttons and an unusual bird motif in the lining. Fully canvassed, it is double vented and three buttoned. Pit to pit it measures 20" making it a 36/37 by my reckoning. Sleeves are 25", the length is 29.5" bottom of collar to bottom of jacket. Shoulder seam to seam is 16.5 and the waist at the middle button is 19. It strikes me that this would be a slim fitting jacket, ideal for the smaller guys who can't seem to find much posted here in their size. This jacket is in mint condition and I am looking for $85 shipped CONUS. PM me with questions or interest.

beautiful jacket! unfortunately those arms are 2 inches too long for me. as this is bespoke, i would assume it has working cuff buttons, therefore unalterable (unless at the shoulders, which = $$$)? the darting that goes all the way down the jacket is also quite unusual, not sure what to think about those!

They don't look like working cuffs in the pic. 2 button cuffs.

The cuffs do not have working buttons.

If it's 20 inches, then it's more likely a 38.

I thought the rule was to allow 3 to 4 inches between chest measurement and size.

Good luck finding a 38 with 16.5" shoulders. It'll be drapey/baggy on a 36. Great quality by the look of the photo, and the price is a winner. Someone who knows what their size is and what they want is going to get a great piece.

I was under the impression it was two inches.

I measured my size 36 jacket and it was 19 inches across.

Both statements are true, but I prefer a tighter fit. I would think especially with smaller sizes most would lean towards a smaller allowance.

How much shoulder padding does it have?
