bump for price reduction
I got drducky's other pair of wool twill trousers and would like to vouch for their awesomeness: they're quite slim, the fabric is interesting and soft. I see them as perfect business casual pants: to an uninterested observer they look like the cotton khakis everyone else is wearing, but people with an eye for clothes will notice the textured fabric, piping on the pockets, and slim silhouette. Sorry I'm unable to post pics. drducky did a good job of shipping, I didn't pay any duty getting them to Canada.

thank you for the kind words
if needed, I can take a picture showing the silhouette of the entire pant
I can still get these in black, too, if anyone has use for that

The cotton trousers are indeed still available
In addition, I picked up a pair of navy 34" and 32" olive, both 100% linen that I was planning on holding until the spring, though if people are traveling and either would be appropriate, contact me

yes and no
I looked pretty carefully today
There are no more made in Italy traditional wool flannel trousers
There are a number of either made elsewhere or nontraditional trousers available.. almost all are size 32, though maybe a few 34; my cost on these is the same as the higher priced items that I bought and then sold here, so the bargain is likely less so
The nontraditional items are wool cargo pants (I remember heathered olive green, likely others), tuxedo-style trousers, such as http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/i...entPage=family
There are a pair similar to these, but in black
http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/i...entPage=family
There also are some commando style pants in wool flannel, some of which are made in Italy
I didn't get any of these yet, as returns are a difficult there and between price and styling, all of these are pretty hit or miss.. if you have interests, let me know
I'm probably trekking out again tomorrow morning

I'm likely heading back later this morning or tomorrow to pick up the pair of riding pants that I had returned that have re-sparked interest
If any of the above described trousers sound interesting, drop me a line

OK.. I picked up the last pair of wool flannel that resemble traditional styling
these are NWOT, dark charcoal pinstripe, made in Italy like the others
they are flat front, tagged 32 waist
They have some interesting details:
there are buttons for braces on the outside of the waistband, button fly, and a coin pocket hidden in the waistband, not under it like one typically finds one; slide adjuster in the rear
There is Ralph's 067 logo embroidered in the waistband in red, but it will be completely hidden if wearing a belt
asking the same as the others $100 shipped in the US
These are VERY similar to the Bleeker chalkstripe that retail on the website for $450
Measurements
Waist - 34"
Rise - 11.25"
Inseam - 34.5"+1.5" remaining
Ankle - 8"
