Detroit Saks Continues to Slide - Page 2

I was there last week and they were renovating the men's section. Maybe it will improve?

I don't know... this store isn't too bad... Recently Saks said it was a top 10 store in all the chain...

But I agree... it is very big on trend... Huge sportswear section... lots of Theory, Michael Kors, Sand, Hugo Boss, etc.

Living in A2 I don't get out to Somerset very often so the update was interesting to me.

I was at NM Last Call at Great Lakes Crossing a couple of months ago and was actually pretty impressed with their selection--dozens of ties from makers like TF/Zegna/Charvet/Kiton and a small selection of very high end sportcoats and suits. Tried on an Isaia tux that fit great EXCEPT the sleeves had been finished with working buttonholes and were a full 1.5 inches too short. Oh well.

Good to know about the last call..  I find the Off Fifth at GLC to be pretty mundane... although better than some others I have been to throughout the country.
