Gucci black wool peacoat, size 36/38

I'm cleaning out the closet, here's another Gucci item that I found. Stated size is 36, black, 100% wool. Sleeves are functional and have 4 buttons each (cut by the tailor at the Gucci boutique). Essentially brand new, worn at most twice, no snags, tears, stains. Tom Ford-era Gucci item, circa 2001/2002. Purchased from either the Gucci boutique in NYC or in Costa Mesa (I honest don't remember). It still fits me fine (I'm a bit fatter now) with a thin sweater underneath. And yes, it's not the typical peacoat that hits the butt. It's a 3/4 length (mid-thigh) coat that's look like a peacoat. Horn buttons, I think.

Measurements:

Shoulder (seam to seam): 18"
Total length (including collar): 37.5"
Chest (armpit to armpit): 21" x2= 42"
Sleeve: 25"
Waist ( measured at the 3rd row of buttons from top): 20" x2= 40"

$475 is my asking price.

I'd be interested, possibly. How much were you looking to get?

thanks man, enjoy your jacket. I've sold stuff to all over the place that I don't honestly remember what I sold you, but it must be good!

Any interested parties can give me an offer on the jacket, I'll consider.

Like I said, I'm just happening to be in a selling mood and keep finding good stuff for sale.

Well... are you thinking, "I really want to get rid of this," in which case $150... or, "I like it but would let it go for the right offer," meaning $400+? Gucci is one of those brands that I always have a tough time gauging what is a good price to ask/offer...

I love the Slimane YSL stuff... I used to have several pieces but I always found the fit so off-putting as to be almost impossible to wear. But, aesthetically and construction wise... it was some of the best stuff I've ever owned.

Tom Ford really was a genius. He's one of those fashion designer that I actually, even to this day, admire for his sheer brilliance, both fashion and business wise.

Back in the days of me buying the Gucci stuff, I've always find the YSL Rive Gauche stuff too over the top, and they never fit right on me.

Yes, the Slimane YSL stuff had a certain squareness to the fit and the Larges were sized like Smalls.

Alright guys, more pictures and measurements are up. As this is an almost new coat, worn less than 3 times outside, and still fits me, I'm gonna be pretty firm on price.
