Johnson is currently polling ahead of where Jesse Ventura was at this point of the 1998 Minnesota gubernatorial election.  Ventura beat a future Senator and the son of a former Vice-President, not this year's Beavis and Butthead.

Rough couple of days for Johnson and Stein.

Also, since Nick mentioned Ventura -- when did he turn into Riff Raff?

Yeah I'm sure they wish they'd picked the xenophobic narcissist or the pathological liar instead.

Or are you suggesting that they now endorse Jill Stein (after, of course, bailing her out)?

I was reading that AP story on the Clinton Foundation and was a little surprised that she only met with 154 people from private interests during her tenure as Secretary of State. AP retracted and revised their story saying it was only discretionary meetings and the bulk of her meetings were official

Criticizing the Clinton Foundation is one of those topics that's a Bat Signal to certain posters.

Hillary calls out Trump supporters.
Quote:
US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has called half of Donald Trump's supporters a "basket of deplorables".
Speaking at a fundraiser, she said they were "racist, sexist, xenophobic, Islamophobic - you name it".
She then went on to say the rest of the Republican nominee's supporters were "just desperate for change".
Mr Trump said the comments were "insulting" to "millions of amazing, hard working people".

I don't see this helping her and merely confirms for millions of people their feelings of persecution. Afterwards her campaign started walking things back and claimed she was only speaking of the "alt right."

lol at euphemistic "basket of deplorables". it's even funnier if she loses.

I'm starting to wonder if it will be this elections "binders of women." Just read she's walking "basket of deplorables" back even more. Of course it would take some help from the MSM to get to stick like the "binders" did with Mitt so probably not.

I'm thinking it would be a great name for a doom metal band.
