That's gonna be interesting to watch. I bet a bunch of those homeowners are in the tech industry, and with California not being so company friendly... some of those businesses just might head to places like Utah.

What impresses me about SF is how the city can be so wealthy and still have such appalling crime rates. Seattle is the same way.

Scott Adams (Dilbert guy) was sucking his own dick about how smart he was for predicting Trump was going to win the Republican primary and then the general. He was the guy who coined the "Trump playing 3D chess" line, and was always assigning some shrewd (unknown) intent to all of Trump's actions. Now that Trump is obviously flailing, he's backpedaling.

Adams was pulling the "I'm so much smarter than everyone, so I'm right" card instead of Moore's "I have unverifiable inside information" card. I wonder which is more obnoxious.

Maybe they could be featured on a Celebrity Death Match episode.

Austin and a few other places are picking up a lot of jobs from the tech industry leaving CA.  It will be interesting - as @lawyerdad says, housing prices could go up or down in bay area.

Production started leaving 20 years ago but for a dry spell a few years back my local, 393 Santa Clara co./Silicon Valley, has had 100-200% employment for the last 30+ years. I even got a letter a year or so ago asking me to come back to work.

I love that they're still running polls about Harambe.

Gorilla lives matter.

#GLM

And Hillary will soon be pandering for #GLM votes,

The DEMs tried to get Harambe's mom for their convention, but she was unavailable.

Hillary defense "fails," sailor gets a year in prison. If only he'd said he was just extremely careless!

http://legalinsurrection.com/2016/08/hillary-did-it-too-defense-fails-sailor-gets-jail-for-submarine-photos/

I put "fails" in scare quotes because based on the (very little) I've read about the case, just one year actually sounds like a good result for the guy. I mean, not as good as walking away scott free and getting rich for making "speeches" and being made president in return for not leaving your cheating husband -- but pretty good for an average joe.

I see the Clintons have pledged not to accept foreign donations for their Foundation while Hills is POTUS and Bill has promised to stop giving paid speeches too.

Anyone wonder if there's a skeleton in the closet concerning donations to the CF?

One doesn't need to wonder.

If a Trump foundation got money from mercenaries while he was Secretary of State, they would be all over that motherfucker. Who knows how many billions in contracts she gave to these donors while she was Secretary of State. Can only imagine how much taxpayer money is going go to her foundation for the next 8 years. Nice scam they got going. I'll give them that.

Prediction: if assets controlled by the Foundation are counted the Clintons will die richer than Trump.
